MSBuild and Silverlight 2.0 Beta 2 SDK running in Team City

First you need to un-install the Silverlight 2.0 Beta 1 SDK from the build server! Then you can download the Microsoft Silverlight Tools Beta 2 for Visual Studio 2008 and extract it on the server, there you will find the file silverlight_sdk.msi, that will allow you to install Silverlight 2.0 Beta 2 SDK.

Now if you followed my post MSBuild and Silverlight 2.0 Beta 1 running in Team City, then you know about the issue:

This issue is still there so my fix is still in my MSBuild file.

We made some changes around command line build this release, so that the XAP is copied when you build the web project.  Websites are still not supported for Team Build and similar products, but if your Silverlight project is hosted in a Web Application, it should work with a little extra preparation.  You'll need to copy the updated build task DLL and targets file for Web Apps from a VS install with Silverlight Tools onto the build machine (%programfiles%\MSBuild\Microsoft\VisualStudio\v9.0\WebApplications).  Make sure the version is 21022.108 for VS RTM or 30428.9 for VS SP1 beta.
